Luminary Portland chef Vitaly Paley, of steakhouse Imperial, seafood restaurant Headwaters, and his eponymous Northwestern bistro Paley’s Place, will be joining the recent trend of chefs turning to Instagram to host live cooking shows while their restaurants are closed due to the coronavirus. Chef Paley’s show will include user-friendly recipes, advocacy, comedy, and cameos from his wife and business partner Kimberly.
As the Oregonian first reported, the show will be called Ask Vitaly Anything, and will encourage viewers to ask questions based on what they have in their cupboards so that the always affable chef Paley will be able to help out during quarantine days. The show airs at 5 p.m. PST on his personal Instagram account each Friday.
Those looking for even more Instagram Live chef cooking can find Le Pigeon chef Gabriel Rucker hosting his own show three days a week.
